General Information

The Kodiak brown bear, the world's largest land based carnivore that roams the Earth, has been the topic of much discussion regarding endangered species. How is it that such a large, fercious beast would ever be labeled an endangered species? There are many reasons for something of this magnitude to occur. It could be traced to natural causes or changes in the animal's environment, but the most obvious cause is human interference.

These animals had lived for centuries prior to human existence, there was never any interference from the outside world that would harm these beasts. These centuries came and left swiftly, bringing into the bears' environment, humans and leaving it with a scarred environment for all wildlife.

These bears were known by ancient myths as dangrous prowlers that would kill their sheep, but in truth it was all lies garnered towards the destruction of the species now known as Ursus Arctos Middendorffi.

In the past few decades, this rapid destruction of the Kodiak bear started to come to an immediate stop. In these decades, people have truly came out of the darkened thoughts that had been forced upon them by past stories to see that the Kodiak brown bear is truly a magnificient beast that should be protected at all costs.
